I have been getting many questions about working at home. What I do and so on... I work at home as a Recruiter, I recruit Engineers and highly technical positions around the country. It is not something you can wake up one morning and decide to make a living at. I also do some freelance writing here and there and I also offer resume writing and revamps.
However, there are many other options out there if you are patient and have the time to give. Check out Lisa Mills Blog, Work at Home Mom Revolution, she posts legitimate work at home jobs from all over, everything from call center jobs, writing jobs to virtual assistant jobs. She also has some really good information about working at home in general.
Be very careful when responding to ads on Craigslist and in local Pennysavers and News Papers and never, ever pay to get a job. If you work with a recruiter such as myself the company pays us to find people for them, we never take money from a candidate.
The most important thing to remember is, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is......
